As planned, the program "Moon of the Sea" will take place from October 2-5, at the Naval Region 3 Command ( Da Nang ) with many practical activities.
The organizing committee will award 100 scholarships to children of officers and soldiers in difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to study well; award 2,000 Mid-Autumn gifts, including cakes, milk, jelly, lanterns, paper masks, and school supplies to children of officers and soldiers of Naval Region 3 who are on duty to protect the sea and islands in the central region and Hoang Sa special zone; and award 300 gifts to children of officers and soldiers of the 83rd Naval Engineering Brigade, on duty on islands in Truong Sa special zone.
The Mid-Autumn Festival art program with the theme "Moon of the Sea" will also be held, creating a night full of light and love for the children. In particular, the program aims at deep gratitude gestures: giving gifts to the Mothers of Gac Ma martyrs in Da Nang; offering incense at the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and the family of Heroic Martyr Nguyen Phan Vinh; visiting and giving gifts to soldiers who suffered injuries while on duty.

This is a series of humane activities, continuing the morality of "remembering the source of the water you drink", affirming that the love of the home front is always directed towards the silent sacrifices at the forefront.
The new point of this year's program is the sports exchange between the Organizing Committee and the Naval Region 3 Command, contributing to strengthening the connection, creating a friendly and close atmosphere. Along with that, the delegation will visit and give gifts to some units under the Region, such as: Brigade 172, Regiment 351, Engineer Brigade 83.

The funding for the organization and gifts are socialized, demonstrating the spirit of sharing community responsibility. The gifts will be received at the Office of the Vietnam Sea and Islands Association (No. 94, Lane 189, Hoang Hoa Tham, Ngoc Ha, Hanoi ) and the Naval Region 3 Command (Da Nang).
Sharing about the program, Mr. Tran Vu Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Sea and Islands Association, emphasized: "Mid-Autumn Festival is an occasion for family reunion and sharing love. For children whose parents are on duty to protect the sea and islands, that joy is often not complete. Therefore, 'Moon of the Sea' represents companionship and the embrace of the home front. We are very grateful to Dan Tri Newspaper for organizing a meaningful program that spreads and attracts widespread support and contributions."

The Chairman of the Vietnam Sea and Islands Association emphasized that schools have joined hands to make masks and lanterns to send to children. In addition, there are paper cranes and flower lanterns to express gratitude to the heroic martyrs. The Association also organizes many exhibitions, publishes publications within the framework of the exhibition, and allocates funds to organize programs for children.
The program is valuable because it has the meaningful support of many units and businesses, including Hanoi Railway Transport Company, which has continuously supported free transportation of gifts to destinations for many years.
The organizers hope that through the program, the love from the mainland will continue to spread, so that every child, every soldier at the forefront will feel warmer and so that every moon season, no matter where we are, we still share the same sky of love and belief in a strong and peaceful Vietnam.

Although it has not yet been Mid-Autumn Festival, the atmosphere at the Vietnam Sea and Islands Association is bustling and warm. All members are excited, each contributing to prepare meaningful gifts for the children of Navy soldiers.
"The Moon of the Sea" is a Mid-Autumn gift for children of Navy officers and soldiers, and is also a bridge of love, gratitude and responsibility. Through that, the program spreads the message: the moonlight will always illuminate the relationship between the army and the people, so that the rear and the frontline can share the same beat for the homeland's sea and islands, for sustainable peace for the future.
