On the morning of February 12 (the 3rd day of Tet), Nga Bach commune (Nga Son) organized the traditional rowing festival of the year of the Dragon 2024. This is a unique cultural and sports festival of the locality and to practically celebrate the Party - Celebrate Spring.
The traditional rowing festival is a unique traditional cultural feature on the occasion of the Lunar New Year every year in Nga Bach commune.
This year, there are 7 teams from 7 villages participating in the traditional rowing festival. To prepare for the festival, the villages in Nga Bach commune selected the strongest and most skillful rowers, forming a rowing team with each village having 20 rowers.

Each team has a division of positions and tasks, including a captain who holds the oars, 16 people holding the paddles arranged along both sides of the boat. In addition, each boat has a person standing in the middle to beat the gong to set the rhythm, a person to bail out water, and an assistant helmsman. Each team has its own colored uniforms.

The race track is on the Sung River, with the starting and finishing points being Nghe Hau, Bach Dang village. 7 teams compete in the qualifying round with 2 rounds to find the 4 best teams to enter the final round. In the qualifying round, the teams have to do 3 laps with a total length of 6,000m. The final round has 2 laps with a track length of 4,000m.
The racing teams are well prepared to participate in the festival and also receive encouragement from home fans.
Right from the qualifying round, the races were exciting and attractive, attracting the enthusiastic participation and cheering of thousands of people along the Sung River. The racing teams all competed with the highest effort to help their team achieve the best results. Based on the results of the competition, the organizing committee will award trophies to the champion, second and third place teams.
