According to NBC News , President Trump has changed his plans, leaving the G7 Summit earlier than expected.
"Due to developments in the Middle East, President Trump will depart on the evening of June 16 (local time) after dinner with heads of state," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote on the X network.

"I'm going to have dinner with great leaders, then get on a plane. I have to go home as soon as possible for reasons you know," Mr. Trump told reporters when asked about his plan to leave the G7 early on the evening of June 16.
An administration official told NBC News that President Trump has asked the National Security Council to prepare to meet in the Situation Room upon his return from the G7 Summit.
A US State Department spokesman confirmed that Secretary of State Marco Rubio returned to Washington with Mr. Trump.

In a post on June 16, the White House press secretary added that "many accomplishments were made" at the G7 Summit, referring to progress in trade negotiations between President Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
A White House official previously told NBC News that President Trump would not sign a joint statement at the G7 aimed at de-escalating the conflict between Israel and Iran, adding that he "will continue to work to ensure Iran cannot obtain a nuclear weapon."
