On July 22, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) for 11 majors in the Health sector in 2025, the lowest level in 7 years of applying a separate floor score policy for this specific group of majors.
Accordingly, the highest minimum score for Medicine and Dentistry is 20.5; Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy require 19 points; the remaining majors such as Nursing, Midwifery, Rehabilitation Engineering... only require a minimum of 17 points. Compared to 2024, the minimum score has decreased from 2 to 2.5 points.
This adjustment took place in the context of the average score of the B00 combination (Math - Chemistry - Biology) decreasing sharply compared to last year, a decrease of up to 2.1 points, due to the impact of Chemistry and Biology becoming optional subjects in the high school graduation exam.
