[Video] Vietnamese student wins Silver Medal at UPU 2025 International Letter Writing Competition

The letter entered into the 54th UPU International Letter Writing Competition by Pham Doan Minh Khue, a 10C2 student at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Da Nang City, won the second international prize.

This year's contest attracted more than 1.6 million entries from 65 countries.

This is the 19th time Vietnam has had students win international prizes after 37 years of participating in the UPU. Previous achievements include 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 8 third prizes and 6 consolation prizes.

With the theme “Imagine you are the ocean, write a letter to someone to explain why and how they should take care of and protect you”, Minh Khue wrote a letter in the form of a movie script to director James Cameron, titled “An Ocean Request”.

She expressed her hope that the message through her work will contribute to raising awareness and inspiring the young generation to join hands in protecting the ocean with small but practical actions.
