[Video] Russian Film Week in Vietnam 2025

On the evening of June 27, 2025, at the National Cinema Center, the Department of Cinema in coordination with the Russian Federal Agency for Audiovisual Content (ROSKINO) organized the "Russian Film Week in Vietnam 2025"

Russian cinema stands out for its depth of thought, humanity and ability to portray tragedy in an artistic, emotional way.

The 5 films shown in Vietnam are not simply cinematic works, but rather cultural and historical slices, visual contemplations. With the films Catherine the Great, Fedya, The Wish of the Magic Fish, Devyataev.

The opening film “Your Name Is Not on the List” was produced in 2025 by director Sergey Korotaev. The film is a tragic epic in the midst of fierce war, recreating the fateful moment when an unknown young lieutenant entered the Brest Fortress at the moment the first shot of World War II rang out. His name was not on the list, but he became a hero in the midst of fire and smoke. Tragic, quiet and resilient, honoring the nameless heroes in the midst of war.

“Russian Film Week in Vietnam 2025” takes place from June 26 to June 28, 2025.
