Aid of over 2 billion VND for disadvantaged students in Hai Duong

Representatives of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and sponsors presented study support money to students.

On May 10 and 11, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations coordinated with Tzu Chi Organization (Taiwan, China) to provide aid for a project to support learning for students in difficult circumstances for the 2024-2025 school year.

The project provides one-time cash support to 827 disadvantaged students in Tu Ky, Thanh Ha, Thanh Mien districts and Hai Duong city.

Among them are 815 primary, secondary and high school students and 10 students from Hai Duong University, 2 of whom are members of the Provincial Association for the Blind studying at Thanh Dong University.

273 primary school students, 386 secondary school students, 156 high school students, 10 students from Hai Duong University and 2 students from Thanh Dong University received support this time.

The lowest level of support is 1.5 million VND for primary school students. The highest level of support is 22 million VND for members of the Provincial Association for the Blind studying at Thanh Dong University. The total amount of aid for the project is more than 2 billion VND.

On the afternoon of May 10, the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations and Tzu Chi organization organized a donation ceremony to present aid to 287 students in Hai Duong City. On May 11, the units continued to present study support to students in difficult circumstances in Tu Ky, Thanh Ha, and Thanh Mien districts.

Tzu Chi is a religious organization that has repeatedly coordinated with the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations to carry out charitable activities in Hai Duong.
