Vietnam-Nigeria need to expand cooperation in many different fields

Also attending the reception was Head of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai. President Vo Van Thuong congratulated Ambassador Hassan Adamu Mamani on his successful term in Vietnam, thereby making an important contribution to promoting and strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the two countries in recent times. Appreciating the Ambassador's contributions to strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and Nigeria, the President believes that during his years of working in Vietnam, the Ambassador has always had good feelings and deep impressions of the country and people of Vietnam, and of the achievements in cooperation and relations between the two countries. Delighted with the achievements in Nigeria's socio -economic development in recent times, including the successful organization of the election and the new cabinet, President Vo Van Thuong affirmed that Nigeria is increasingly developing and has an increasingly important voice in the region and internationally. Vietnam wishes to further promote cooperation with African and West African countries in general and Nigeria in particular. Expressing his sincere feelings and deep respect for the opinions of President Vo Van Thuong, Ambassador Hassan Adamu Mamani said that to achieve good results in the past term, he always received enthusiastic support and assistance from President Vo Van Thuong, the Government and relevant ministries, branches and agencies of Vietnam. The Ambassador sent special thanks to the Vietnamese officers and staff working at the Nigerian Embassy for their important contributions and assistance over the years.

President Vo Van Thuong suggested that Nigeria will continue to support Vietnam in strengthening relations and cooperation with African and West African countries, and Vietnam is ready to be a bridge for Nigeria to expand cooperation with ASEAN countries. The President hopes that Ambassador Hassan Adamu Mamani will always remember Vietnam with the best feelings.
