An Giang province visits and offers incense to national hero Nguyen Trung Truc

On the afternoon of October 17, the Party Committee, government, armed forces, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, representatives of ethnic groups in An Giang province and relatives visited and burned incense at the historical and cultural relic of Nguyen Trung Truc's tomb and communal house, on the occasion of the 157th anniversary of the sacrifice of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc (1868-2025).

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Tan Dung, former Politburo member, former Prime Minister; General Le Hong Anh, former Politburo member, former Standing member of the Secretariat; Party Central Committee member, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai, departments, branches, armed forces, intellectuals, religious dignitaries, representatives of ethnic groups and relatives of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc from Gia Lai, Tay Ninh, and Ca Mau provinces.

Comrades: Nguyen Tan Dung, former Politburo member, former Prime Minister ; General Le Hong Anh, former Politburo member, former Standing member of the Secretariat and leaders of An Giang province offered incense to National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc.

The incense offering ceremony for National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc took place in a solemn atmosphere, expressing deep respect and gratitude to the National Hero who sacrificed himself to fight foreign invaders to protect the country.

Before the spirit of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc, the Party Committee and people of An Giang province vow to unite, preserve and promote the fine traditions of the nation, constantly build the homeland to be more and more prosperous, worthy of the sacrifice of our ancestors and of National Hero Nguyen Trung Truc.
