On the morning of August 28, at Da Nang High-Tech Park, IPTP Networks held the launching ceremony of the AIDC DeCenter Data Center project.
This area is currently a transit point for many international submarine optical cables and is located on the North-South connection axis, convenient for connecting with network operators.
According to the introduction, the center is designed according to Tier 3+/Tier 4 Uptime standards, aiming to provide infrastructure for high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, blockchain and cloud computing services. When completed, this will be one of the data centers rated “AI-Ready” in Vietnam.
Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, said that the project has a total registered capital of 200 million USD and is considered one of the city's key technology projects.
IPTP Networks representative said that the company has experience operating infrastructure in more than 70 data centers in 66 cities in 37 countries, currently serving over 5,000 customers.

"I believe that from Da Nang, AIDC DeCenter will become a new technology gateway for Southeast Asia, helping Vietnam seize opportunities and rise strongly in the global digital infrastructure race," he said.
According to forecasts from Mordor Intelligence and GII Research, the data center market capacity in Vietnam could increase from 524.7 MW (2025) to 950.4 MW by 2030.
The investment in AIDC DeCenter is expected to contribute to meeting the needs of digital infrastructure in Da Nang, in the context that the city is implementing the orientation of building an international financial center and testing digital financial models.
