The Party and State of Vietnam wish to work with other countries to realize the wish of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to further develop the friendly and cooperative relations between Vietnam and other countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that in recent days, upon the passing of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, senior leaders of countries, international organizations, political parties and international friends from 103 countries, territories and 32 international organizations have sent nearly 500 letters, telegrams and messages of condolences.

In letters, telegrams, and messages of condolences, leaders of countries, international organizations, political parties, and international friends expressed their deep feelings, infinite sorrow, and great respect for General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.
In addition, leaders of countries and international organizations also honored General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's contributions to Vietnam's development and the relationship between Vietnam and its partners, expressing their desire to continue to further promote cooperation with Vietnam in all fields.
Appreciating the solidarity and sharing, the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong, and other Party and State leaders have sent letters and telegrams to leaders of countries, international organizations, political parties, and international friends.
Vietnamese leaders expressed their gratitude for the special sentiments and words of concern and encouragement from the Party, State, people of Vietnam and the family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in the face of the great loss.
