VietinBank supports the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Dak Nong province

On May 12, 2025, in Dak Nia commune (Gia Nghia city, Dak Nong province), the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee to organize a launching ceremony to launch the campaign to build and eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses and receive funding and hand over model houses in Dak Nong province. VietinBank and a number of units have accompanied the Program.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant General Pham The Tung - Deputy Minister of Public Security said: For Dak Nong province, the Ministry of Public Security has accompanied and coordinated very urgently, calling on sponsors (including VietinBank ) to contribute and support to join the province in implementing the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025. Thereby, the Ministry of Public Security, in coordination with sponsors, respectfully transferred 30 billion VND to build 500 new houses for the people of Dak Nong province, contributing to supporting the completion of the goal of supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by June 2025" .

The active participation of VietinBank, the Ministry of Public Security and Dak Nong province is one of the meaningful social security activities, contributing practically to improving the living conditions of people in remote areas. From there, helping people firmly overcome difficulties, gradually rising out of poverty sustainably.

On behalf of the Provincial Leaders, Comrade Ho Van Muoi - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee affirmed : The funding source from the Ministry of Public Security is very large and valuable, helping Dak Nong province complete the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025. Dak Nong province is committed to using this funding source effectively, transparently and for the right subjects, to help poor households stabilize their lives and escape poverty. At the same time, the province requires all levels and sectors to continue to closely monitor the progress and quality of the project, ensuring that there is no loss or waste .

Over the past time, VietinBank has continuously affirmed its role and social responsibility through meaningful social security programs across the country, including Dak Nong province. Up to now, VietinBank has spent over 72 billion VND to support social security work in Dak Nong province, including: Building 834 houses for poor households, policy families, ethnic minorities; 4 school projects, 1 inclusive education center, 4 medical station projects ; donating 2 ambulances , medical equipment to medical facilities, Tet gifts for poor households, policy families, etc.
