On June 16, leaders and Youth Union of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade ( Vietinbank ) Lai Chau Branch coordinated with the Provincial Red Cross to visit and present gifts to patients undergoing dialysis at the Provincial General Hospital.
On this occasion, more than 50 patients undergoing dialysis at the Provincial General Hospital received gifts totaling VND 26.5 million (VND 500,000/gift).
Leaders of Vietinbank Lai Chau Branch and the Provincial Red Cross Society presented gifts to dialysis patients.
It is known that kidney patients who have to undergo dialysis twice a day are in extremely difficult circumstances. Many patients live far away and have to both receive treatment and earn a living. Therefore, the gift is very meaningful in helping patients reduce the pressure of life.
Dialysis patients at the Provincial General Hospital all received gifts.
Comrade Nguyen Tho Tinh - Deputy Director of Vietinbank Lai Chau Branch said: In the past time, the unit has accompanied Lai Chau province in many social security activities. Over the past 14 years, along with the development process, Vietinbank has contributed to charity activities of Lai Chau province with an amount of more than 100 billion VND. Of which, there are 3 recent major programs: supporting the construction of border houses for people in Phong Tho district; supporting the construction of the Preventive Medicine Center of Tan Uyen district; giving social insurance books, health insurance to poor households...
