Vietjet will open a direct flight between Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia) and Nha Trang

On November 2, within the framework of the Vietnam - Mongolia Business Forum (held before the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries), Vietjet Air announced the opening of a flight route connecting the capital Ulaanbaatar of Mongolia with the coastal city of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa of Vietnam. The ceremony to announce the flight route connecting Ulaanbaatar with Nha Trang took place solemnly in the presence of Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and leaders of several ministries, branches, agencies and businesses of the two countries.

Leaders of Vietnam and Mongolia attended the ceremony to announce the new Ulaanbaatar - Nha Trang flight route of Vietjet airline.

A representative of Vietjet Air in Khanh Hoa said that Vietjet's Ulaanbaatar - Nha Trang route will be operated from December 15, 2023 with a frequency of 2 round-trip flights per week, flight time of about 5 hours and 30 minutes per leg, meeting the travel needs of Mongolian people and tourists to Vietnam and vice versa. The Ulaanbaatar - Nha Trang route will contribute to facilitating and promoting investment cooperation, tourism, cultural and educational exchanges between the two countries, connecting Mongolia with Vietnam. Along with flights from Korea, China, Kazakhstan..., the Ulaanbaatar - Nha Trang route contributes to further expanding Vietjet's international flight network to Khanh Hoa.

According to the leader of the Department of Tourism, Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa is a famous sea tourism center of Vietnam with a temperate climate, a long coastline with golden sunshine and blue sea; rich cuisine typical of East Asia, imbued with the identity of the central coastal region of Vietnam; many famous attractions such as Ponagar Tower, Vinpearl tourist complex on Hon Tre Island... Meanwhile, the capital Ulaanbaatar is an important cultural, political and economic center of Mongolia and will especially attract tourists with cultural and historical attractions, majestic nature, and vast grasslands. The opening of the Ulaanbaatar - Nha Trang route by Vietjet Air will create conditions for Mongolian tourists to travel to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa, contributing to the growth of international visitors to Khanh Hoa.
