Vinfast VF9 special edition Lac Hong revealed, full of Vietnamese character

VinFast VF9 Lac Hong is a special variant of the large electric SUV VF9. The car has a bold Vietnamese design language and targets high-end VIP customers.

Recently, on social networks, real images of the special extended version of VinFast VF9, with the name on the rear of the car being “Lac Hong 900 LX”, have been spread. Currently, VinFast has not yet provided official information about this car model.

In fact, there have been images of this car model that have been caught or leaked before. According to the information spread so far, this is the Vinfast VF9 special limited edition Lac Hong, a total of 62 cars are expected to be produced, including 12 bulletproof cars and 50 regular versions.

The photos show the car's exterior is glossy black, with many changed details such as the large vertical grille at the front of the car, completely different from the standard VinFast VF9.

The bird-wing LED strip at the front of the Vinfast VF9 Lac Hong version is also shorter due to the new grille design. The headlights are placed lower than the VF9 currently on the market. The logo on the front of the car is gold-plated with a stylized V-shape with wings.

Some other changes on the VinFast Lac Hong 900 LX include smaller air vents integrated into the front/rear bumper edges using chrome-plated horizontal bars. Or the yellow “V” logos on the C-pillar, rear, wheel center, steering wheel and seat headrests stylized from bird wings.

In particular, the side of the car shows that this model is much longer than the VF9 currently on sale. There is a gap between the two side doors of the car. This detail usually only appears on models with an extended wheelbase.

Inside the interior, the biggest change of the VinFast Lac Hong 900 LX is in the back row when a fixed partition is added between the two rows of seats, covered with wood and has a glass windshield with a strong business style.

The two rear seats have also been updated with calf rests. The door panels reveal amenities including multi-way power adjustment with one-touch recline, heated and cooled seats. The climate control system is also customized, most likely a four-zone system.

The car is equipped with a 15.6-inch central screen + 2 rear seat entertainment screens. High-class soft curtains, Alcantara suede ceiling. 15-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system. Panorama sunroof + automatic electric curtains.

According to some sources, the special limited edition VinFast Lac Hong 900 LX SUV model is likely to be equipped with B6 level bulletproof, which can withstand AK-47 guns according to European standards...

In addition, the car is also equipped with other advanced safety systems such as: Collision warning, lane keeping, emergency braking. 360-degree camera + radar around the car. Face recognition to unlock. Central data connection and emergency alarm system.

It is not yet clear whether the VinFast Lac Hong 900 LX has any differences in powertrain compared to the VF9 large electric SUV. There have been rumors that this model will use a gasoline/electric hybrid powertrain instead of pure electric, but this has not been verified.
