Immediately after storm No. 3 passed, the Ha Long Bay Management Board and other units and businesses urgently cleaned up, purchased equipment, prepared facilities, and ensured safety for tourists. Currently, there are 359 ships anchored at two ports: Ha Long International Passenger Port and Tuan Chau International Passenger Port. Of these, 315 ships are ready to operate. Thanks to that, the number of visitors to Ha Long Bay has increased again.

As of 1 p.m. on September 13, when tourist attractions in Ha Long Bay resumed normal operations, there were about 50 cruise ships bringing 1,000 visitors to Ha Long Bay.

Previously, on September 10, Ha Long Bay also welcomed nearly 3,200 visitors. Since the beginning of the year, there have been nearly 89,000 cruises bringing about 2.4 million visitors to Ha Long Bay, including nearly 1.3 million foreign visitors. Overnight visitors are estimated at over 419,000.
