Vinh Long: Cooperation in training high-quality human resources with Sanjo City University - Japan

NDO - On the morning of May 27, Vinh Long University of Technology Education (VLUTE) signed a cooperation agreement with Sanjo City University - Japan (SCU) on implementing cooperation in training in the field of mechanics and developing high-quality human resources.

This is an important event in the process of integration and internationalization of highereducation , marking a new step in the development of cooperation between the two schools as well as between Vinh Long province and Niigata province (Japan) - where Sanjo City University is located.

At the meeting, representatives of Vinh Long University of Technical Education gave an overview of training strengths, including the field of engineering and technology. Mechanical engineering and high technology are spearhead industries that are receiving strong investment and development.

Sanjo City University also shared about the applied training model associated with businesses, especially focusing on international cooperation in training engineers, interns and technology transfer.

The two sides agreed to exchange lecturers and students, create conditions for sharing professional knowledge, scientific research, teaching methods as well as enhancing cultural understanding of the two localities; support Vietnamese students to access job opportunities at Japanese enterprises.

Speaking at the event, representatives of the two schools emphasized that the friendly relationship between Vinh Long province and Niigata province in recent times has created favorable conditions to promote cultural, educational and economic exchange activities.

In the context of globalization, cooperation between higher education institutions of the two countries not only contributes to improving training quality but also meets the increasing demands of the international labor market.

The meeting also opened up the direction of building a high-quality engineering training program according to Japanese standards right in Vietnam. At the same time, combined with internships, technology transfer and short-term study in Japan, it helps students not only have solid expertise but also be fluent in languages ​​and work skills in a global environment.
