In the first game of the final, the two players fought fiercely. Djokovic missed the chance to break in the 5th game with 2 bad returns of serve.

By the 12th game, Djokovic could not prevent his opponent from getting a break point with a rather unlucky closing error. Hurkacz won the first game 7-5, and took the advantage in the final match.

In the second set, Djokovic and Hurkacz both played quite well. Both players made no mistakes in their serve games.

Tied 6-6, Djokovic and Hurkacz went into a tie-break. Here, Djokovic dominated with a 7-2 victory, thereby tying the score 1-1 after two sets.

In the third game, Djokovic lost the break in the first game. It was thought that Djokovic would have to pay for this mistake, but the Serbian player regained the break in the eighth game.

Neither Djokovic nor Hurkacz made any more mistakes in the following games, and the third set had to be decided by a tie-break.

And once again Djokovic, with the experience and spirit of a top player, won 7-2.

Defeating Hurkacz 2-1 to win the 2025 Geneva Open championship, Djokovic reached the milestone of 100 ATP titles.

Thus, he confidently entered the 100 ATP title club with Jimmy Connors (109) and Roger Federer (103).
