Exciting atmosphere before 'G hour': Tens of thousands of people eagerly waiting to watch the parade on September 2

In the early morning of September 2, tens of thousands of people gathered on many streets around Ba Dinh Square (Hanoi) to watch the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

At 3:00 a.m. on September 2, the area in Ba Dinh Square had gathered masses, drum teams... ready for the parade.

Hung Vuong Street was packed with people and veterans, eagerly waiting to watch the parade.

From August 31 to September 1, crowds of people flocked to the area where the parade and marching procession passed by. Many families and groups of friends brought folding chairs, umbrellas, tarps, even sleeping bags and snacks to “camp” overnight to reserve a spot.
