In recent days, Ba Dinh ward has taken practical actions, showing deep concern for veterans, the elderly and children from all over the country coming to the capital to watch the historic parade.
Understanding the wishes of the majority of people, especially those who have made great contributions to the country and future generations to directly witness the sacred moment of the nation, the People's Committee of Ba Dinh Ward has planned and implemented safe and thoughtful resting places. Many locations have been arranged as free overnight accommodations, ensuring the health and convenience of the people.
On the evening of September 1, Ba Dinh Ward arranged accommodation for veterans, the elderly, and children to watch the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 at 6 locations, including: Phan Chu Trinh Primary School (No. 40-42 Nguyen Thai Hoc); Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School (No. 67 Cua Bac); Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School (No. 8 Nguyen Truong To); Kindergarten No. 10 (Lane 100 Doi Can); 1st floor of the Ward Cultural Information Center (No. 60 Ngoc Ha); Ngoc Ha market (No. 5 Ngoc Ha Street).

At these locations, the ward authorities coordinated with mass organizations such as the Veterans Association, Women's Association, and Youth Union to welcome, guide, and serve the people. Rest rooms were equipped with fans, drinking water, and necessary items, ensuring a clean, airy space for people to rest after a long journey. Security, order, environmental sanitation, and health care were also given special attention to ensure absolute safety.
According to the overnight stay at Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nga's family (Van Don Special Zone, Quang Ninh Province) had 13 people who came to visit Hanoi and watch the parade early. The large family did not know where to stay, so the functional forces of Ba Dinh Ward created favorable conditions to help them go to Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School. "The officials of Ba Dinh Ward were very thoughtful and enthusiastically helped my family find a cool place to rest. My family was very touched," Ms. Nga shared.
These practical actions not only demonstrate the responsibility of the local government but also spread the beautiful image of a civilized, friendly and benevolent Hanoi, contributing to the overall success of the activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.
