Emulation cluster No. 1 of Hai Phong City Veterans Association deploys tasks for 2026.

On the afternoon of November 25, at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Duong Kinh Ward, Emulation Cluster No. 1 of the Hai Phong City Veterans Association summarized the emulation movement in 2025 and deployed the direction and tasks of emulation work in 2026.

The Veterans Association of 23 communes and wards under Emulation Cluster No. 1 currently has 949 branches with more than 42,300 members. In 2025, the emulation movement of the cluster will successfully complete the set targets and tasks.

The units have done well in political and ideological education; set an example in participating in building and protecting the Party and the government, and fighting against wrong views. Activities to participate in economic development and sustainable poverty reduction have achieved positive results, with 10,486 members and people receiving loans through the Social Policy Bank, with a total outstanding debt of more than 687 billion VND.

Units supported the construction and repair of 28 "Comradely Love" houses for veteran members in difficult circumstances with a total cost of more than 2 billion VND; mobilized social resources to visit and give gifts to policy families, people with meritorious services, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, and families of soldiers on duty at the border and islands with 1.7 billion VND...

The cluster promotes coordination between departments, branches and organizations in local movements; more than 4,800 members participate in ensuring security and order, building cultural life, protecting the environment...

In 2026, Emulation Cluster No. 1 of the City Veterans Association will focus on implementing 10 key tasks such as: thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing the resolutions of the Party Congress and the Congress of Veterans Associations at all levels, building political capacity, strengthening the trust and sense of responsibility of cadres and members.

Associations at all levels promote the movement "Veterans help each other reduce poverty and do good business ", increase "gratitude" activities, support members and people to overcome difficulties; proactively coordinate forces and organizations to effectively implement joint programs on traditional education, ensure national defense and security, promote the model of skillful mass mobilization...
