Vo Quang Phu Duc becomes champion of Road to Olympia 2024

With an excellent, dramatic, and thrilling performance until the last moment, contestant Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student majoring in Mathematics at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue, won the laurel wreath of the Road to Olympia 2024 with 220 points after going through the Warm-up, Overcoming Obstacles, Acceleration, and Finish rounds with the three remaining climbers: Tran Trung Kien (student of Le Hong Phong High School, Phu Yen), Nguyen Quoc Nhat Minh (student of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, Gia Lai) and Nguyen Nguyen Phu (student of Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted).

To be able to participate in the final match of the year, all 4 climbers have gone through a long and arduous journey with confidence, talent and determination. This is also the luggage for them to continue their journey of conquering knowledge and striving to achieve more success in the future.

This year, the live broadcast of the 24th Road to Olympia final in Thua Thien Hue was held at Ngo Mon Square, an open space with a large capacity. The center of the stage is located between Ngo Mon and Ky Dai, an iconic location of Hue. The stage is circular in shape with over 10,000 seats.

The bridge in Hue with the participation of many students, teachers, parents and people cheered enthusiastically; is a solid support for contestant Vo Quang Phu Duc to confidently conquer the Olympia peak this year.

Vo Quang Phu Duc, a 12th grade student majoring in Mathematics at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue, is the third contestant to win the laurel wreath of the Road to Olympia competition in Thua Thien Hue province. Previously, Thua Thien Hue had two champions, Ho Ngoc Han and Ho Dac Thanh Chuong, former students of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue, who won the championship in the 9th and 16th years of the Road to Olympia competition, respectively.
