On the evening of May 10, the professional mixed martial arts (MMA) tournament in Vietnam - Lion Championship 22 officially took place at Tay Ho Stadium ( Hanoi ). The tournament attracted 26 fighters to register to compete in weight classes in each event. Notably, the highlight of the tournament was the MMA Pro championship title defense match of champion Pham Cong Minh against fighter Zakhar Dmitrychenka (Belarus).
Zakhar Dzmitrychenka was the one who tried to take the initiative when he quickly caught Pham Cong Minh's back, but the reigning 84kg champion defended too well. The turning point appeared in the second round when Cong Minh's knee strikes against wrestling were fully effective, while the punches and elbows from the "Undefeated" Wushu Vietnam caused the "Thunder God" Zakhar's "battery" to drop rapidly.
Right before the third round started, Zakhar signaled to stop the match, a well-deserved TKO victory for Pham Cong Minh, he continued to be the champion of the 84kg weight class.
The Vietnam Professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Tournament – Lion Championship 22-2025 is the second time the Vietnam Mixed Martial Arts Federation has organized a professional MMA competition with many contents including MMA Pro, 2-2 duo, 3-3 trio, MMA striking, MMA ground fight, and MMA gauntlet.

5. Phan Ngoc Hieu beat Pham Van Quyen (points)
6. Nguyen Thanh Quan beat Trinh Dinh Duc (points)
7. Nguyen Manh Hai beat Phan Huy Hoang (points)
8. Adel Iabbarov defeated Liu Renyi (competition)
9. Nguyen Nguyen Chuong - Luiz Finocchio - Nguyen Quoc Bao beat Le Quang Minh - Bach Van Nghia - Mahmoud Aboelkheir
10. Pham Cong Minh won by knockout Zakhar Dzmitrychenka (TKO)
