Fire at 2 houses and 1 bank headquarters in Ca Mau: Damage of more than 2 billion VND

On the afternoon of September 25, regarding the house fire at dawn, the People's Committee of Nam Can Commune (Ca Mau Province) said that, through preliminary assessment, the fire caused more than 2 billion VND in damage. A bank branch affected by the fire will resume operations next Monday.

As reported by SGGP, the fire broke out at around 3:40 a.m. on September 22. At that time, people discovered a fire at the HO grocery store (on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Ward 2, Nam Can Commune), which quickly flared up and spread to the surrounding area.

Upon receiving the news, the Nam Can Commune Police coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department ( Ca Mau Provincial Police) to mobilize more than 100 officers and soldiers, along with many vehicles and fire trucks to quickly approach the scene and deploy fire extinguishing plans. At 5:10 a.m. the same day, the fire was controlled by the police.

Initial statistics show that the fire burned down 2 houses (1 grocery store, 1 hardware store), a bank branch was partially burned in the front and 3 people suffered minor burns. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties.
