Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee directs to improve organization and personnel of specialized agencies on construction and transportation

Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong has just signed and issued a document conveying the direction of the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on perfecting the organization and personnel of specialized agencies on construction and transportation in wards, communes, and special zones.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the Director of the Department of Construction to select, arrange and perfect the staff at the department to ensure sufficient capacity, qualifications and suitability for job positions, serving the work of advising on state management in the fields of construction and transportation.

At the same time, the Department of Home Affairs was assigned to urgently advise the City People's Committee to issue guidelines on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of specialized agencies under the People's Committees at the commune level.

Based on this guidance, the People's Committee at the commune level will issue specific regulations on the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Economic Department (for communes and special zones) and the Economic - Infrastructure and Urban Department (for wards). At the same time, the commune level is also responsible for selecting, arranging, and perfecting the personnel in these departments, ensuring sufficient capacity and the right job position to advise and perform state management work on construction and traffic according to regulations.

The above direction is expected to help improve management efficiency, create unity and synchronization in the system of specialized agencies, contributing to better meeting the urban development requirements of Ho Chi Minh City in the new period.
