The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition has more than 200 domestic and foreign units and enterprises from more than 30 countries in the ASEAN region, Asia, Europe, and America participating. Military powers such as the US, China, Russia, India, Israel, France, the UK, Spain, etc. also participated in this exhibition.
Notably, in the outdoor exhibition area, military powers Russia and the United States brought to the exhibition modern military equipment that has been proven effective in real combat. In addition, many countries continued to bring modern weapons to contribute to the success of the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024.
The US has 15 units participating in the exhibition, including big names such as Boeing and Lockheed Martin; France has Airbus; Russia has 13 units, including Rosoboronexport of the state corporation Rostec; China has 2 units; Japan has 13 units.
Israel has 2 units, including Israel Aerospace Industries; Singapore has 13 units; India has 10 units, including BrahMos Aerospace.
The US A-10 attack aircraft, nicknamed Thunderbolt II - "Thunder God 2", landed at Gia Lam airport to be displayed at the exhibition.
At the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024, the US partner displayed two A-10 aircraft.

The US Air Force also brought to the exhibition the C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft.
The C-130J Super Hercules is the world's leading modern medium-sized transport aircraft, proven through long service life.

The Kh-35U missile has a flight speed of about 1,225 km/h and a flight range of 260 km for the export version and up to 450 - 500 km for the domestic version. The missile is about 4.4 m long, 42 cm in diameter, and has a wingspan of 1.33 m.
