Regarding the car crash that hit 17 motorbikes, injuring 17 people, on the afternoon of April 5, speaking with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khuyen, Chairman of Tay Ho District People's Committee ( Hanoi ), said that currently there are 22 injured victims.

According to Mr. Khuyen, the accident left 15 people with minor injuries who were discharged from the hospital immediately, 5 people with broken legs and arms, and 2 people with serious injuries, including a student.
"Among the injured victims, there is currently a 3-year-old child being treated in the hospital, with a serious prognosis. The child was treated at Hospital E, then transferred to the National Children's Hospital for surgery," said Mr. Khuyen.

According to the leader of Tay Ho district, at the time of the incident, the 3-year-old child was being carried by his parents on a motorbike. The child's mother is currently in the hospital, while the child's father fortunately only suffered minor injuries.
Also related to the incident, the leader of Tay Ho District People's Committee said that some information that the car driver in the incident was a woman is not accurate, this is false information.
As reported, at 5:00 p.m. on April 5, at the traffic light intersection of Vo Chi Cong Street and Xuan La Street, Tay Ho District, Hanoi, a series of traffic accidents occurred between a car with license plate 29A-083.12, driven by Mr. Hoang Ho V. (born in 1960, residing in Hanoi), carrying his wife who had just come out of a medical examination at Hanoi Heart Hospital.
According to the police, Mr. V's car collided with 17 motorbikes, injuring 17 people.
Through testing, Mr. V's body had no alcohol, stimulants or drugs.
