In Chieu Luu commune, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong - Party Committee Secretary said that from the night of September 23 to the early morning of September 24, there was heavy rain that caused the Xieng Thu spillway to be flooded, thereby isolating nearly 500 households of 6 villages in the old Bao Thang commune. According to the forecast, from the afternoon of September 25 to the end of the night of September 26, in the Northern region, Thanh Hoa and Nghe An, there will be heavy to very heavy rain with common rainfall of 100-200mm, locally over 300mm. Beware of heavy rain causing urban flooding.
