Vung Tau welcomes 37,000 beach visitors on the first day of the April 30 - May 1 holiday

(PLVN) - On the first day of the April 30 - May 1, 2025 holiday, Vung Tau City (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) recorded about 37,000 visitors swimming in the sea, an increase of 8% over the same period last year. Rescue work, ensuring security and order, environmental sanitation and supporting tourists were implemented synchronously and effectively.

According to the Vung Tau City Tourist Management and Support Center, 100% of the force has been mobilized to be on duty at beaches, tourist areas, and public parks. On April 30, the rescue force promptly rescued 4 drowning cases and brought them safely to shore.

Tourism business activities are closely inspected and monitored. Units strictly comply with price posting regulations, ensure food safety, security and order, and environmental sanitation. Cases of gathering to eat, street vending, and littering in public places have been promptly warned and handled.

Tourists coming to Vung Tau to swim in the sea increased compared to the same period last year.

Tourism promotion and customer support are also emphasized. The center has successfully supported the search and handover of a lost child case, received and processed feedback information, and posted many contents introducing tourism activities and festivals on social networking platforms.

The number of visitors is expected to continue to increase in the following days of the holiday. The city continues to maintain safety measures and improve service quality to bring visitors a safe, friendly and memorable holiday.
