Speaking to Zing , Mr. Pham Khac To, Director of the Vung Tau City Tourist Management and Support Center, said that this year's holiday lasts 5 days, so the number of visitors to the coastal city will gradually increase rather than being overloaded right from the start.

By the second day of the holiday, Vung Tau still had enough rooms to serve tourists in the coming days, the director said. Sharing the same view, Mr. Dau The Anh, Vice Chairman of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Tourism Association, also predicted before the start of the holiday that room occupancy could increase further.

According to observations by reporters in the early afternoon of April 30th, many accommodations in the La Van Cau area (Thang Tam ward, Vung Tau city) still displayed signs indicating available rooms.

A representative from a hotel in the neighborhood said that today, more tourists have started flocking to the city. However, their hotel still has quite a few vacant rooms.

"Before the holiday, accommodations had to register and list room prices. We also didn't charge excessive fees to attract customers because when the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet expressway comes into operation, many tourists will change their scenery and visit Phan Thiet," this person expressed.

Earlier, Mr. Dau The Anh also made a similar comment. According to him, the number of tourists from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Thuan will help alleviate the pressure on the coastal city from the influx of visitors.

In the high-end segment, booking rooms close to the holiday is quite easy. Reservations departments at hotels near the beach, such as ibis Style, Fusion Suites, Vias, etc., report that they still have rooms available for April 30th and May 1st, with prices ranging from 3.3 to 3.9 million VND per night.

Searching on intermediary booking websites, travelers can find hundreds of results for accommodations in Vung Tau for this holiday. Depending on location, space, and services, rooms have diverse prices, ranging from a few hundred thousand to millions of VND.

According to a report from the Vung Tau City Tourist Management and Support Center, as of 1 PM on April 30th, the city had welcomed approximately 74,000 visitors. This number is expected to continue increasing later this afternoon and in the following days.
