During Tet, the output of vegetables, tubers and fruits at WinEco Tam Dao increases by 30-40% compared to normal days, in some cases, it increases by 200%, so workers here have to work at full capacity to meet the market demand.
Production Director of WinEco Tam Dao Agricultural Production and Development Investment Co., Ltd. Duong Quang Anh said that the total initial investment cost for the clean agricultural production project here is about 26 billion VND/ha (equivalent to 2.6 million VND/m2), including equipment systems, technology and support from foreign experts.
The company's predecessor is VinEco Tam Dao, established in 2015, with a charter capital of 2,000 billion VND. VinEco's goal is to apply the world's advanced technology to provide organic vegetables and fruits and clean vegetables and fruits to the market according to VietGAP and GlobalGAP standards, in order to realize the goal of producing and distributing clean and safe vegetables according to the first closed model in Vietnam.
In August 2015, the first VinEco field was built using Israeli and Japanese technology in Tam Dao, covering 24.5 hectares, producing and supplying sprouts as well as leafy vegetables - tubers - fruits according to VietGAP standards with an output of 3,500 tons/year.

The farm is scientifically planned and designed with each special zone. All products must follow strict procedures, from the pre-planting stage to the post-harvest stage to ensure the final product reaches the consumer. Accordingly, before planting, the staff will periodically check the soil and water samples to be used, to see if there are any chemical residues or heavy metals.
In the WinEco “field”, the vegetable growing area is surrounded by greenhouses. Vegetables are cared for by an automatic irrigation system, with mist spraying to maintain moisture. Watering water meets drinking water standards. Therefore, although each greenhouse production area in the company is very large, it only requires 2 workers to work…
Ensuring supply of agricultural products to supermarket systems during Tet
Production Director of WinEco Tam Dao Agricultural Production and Development Investment Co., Ltd. Duong Quang Anh added: “Currently, WinEco Tam Dao products are available in supermarkets and VinMart and VinMart+ distribution systems from Vinh Phuc to Thanh Hoa. If on normal days, the company supplies 7-8 tons of goods, then during Tet it increases to more than 10 tons/day. Particularly on the 28th, 29th and 30th of Tet, the output can double.”
According to Mr. Quang Anh, during Tet, the VinMart and VinMart+ distribution systems will only be closed on the 1st and 2nd, and will reopen on the 3rd to serve people's food shopping needs.
Ms. Tran Thi Nguyet, a worker at WinEco Tam Dao Agricultural Production and Development Investment Company Limited, said: “For aquatic vegetables, on average, they will be harvested once every 15-18 days. Therefore, in this greenhouse area, the average vegetable output is 12 tons/month, equivalent to 400 kg/day. At WinEco Tam Dao, each production area specializes in one type of product. Before Tet, workers often have to work overtime to harvest and process products... to ensure the supply of clean agricultural products to the market.”

According to the workers, although working in agriculture, the work at WinEco Tam Dao is not too hard. Therefore, it is easy to find older workers here, from U50 to U60. At this age, women still have the conditions to go to work, with a stable salary of about 6 million VND/month, not including overtime. During the Lunar New Year, each worker also receives an additional 1 month salary along with a gift basket.
Currently, the company's main products include lettuce, kale, mushrooms, sprouts, tomatoes, purple cabbage, bean sprouts, herbs, etc. According to the company's leaders, despite the economic downturn, compared to previous years, WinEco Tam Dao's output has not decreased, and prices have remained stable...
