Recently, Binh Phu commune has guided and established procedures to request timely resolution of policies for policy beneficiaries. However, for many reasons, the establishment of dossiers to request recognition of martyrs has not been timely, including martyr Tran Ngoc Bong (born in 1948), a corporal of the Vietnam People's Army.
During the resistance war against the US, martyr Tran Ngoc Bong enlisted in February 1966 in Company 3, Battalion 2, General Staff Department of Military Region 5; died on June 28, 1966. After the complete liberation of the South, his family had no news, his records were lost, and only now have we found information.
On October 1, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 1059 on granting the Certificate of Merit to martyr Tran Ngoc Bong.
At the ceremony, authorized by superiors, leaders of Thang Binh district awarded the Certificate of Merit to relatives of martyr Tran Ngoc Bong; Binh Phu commune also presented a gift to the family's relatives.
Through two resistance wars, Binh Phu commune has more than 520 policy beneficiaries, including 349 martyrs, 19 sick soldiers, and 98 mothers who were awarded and posthumously awarded the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother...
