Dien Khanh commune implements review of poor and near-poor households

On the afternoon of October 20, the People's Committee of Dien Khanh commune held a conference to deploy a plan to review poor and near-poor households according to multidimensional poverty standards for the period 2022 - 2025 and identify farming, forestry, fishery and salt-making households with average living standards and low-income workers in the commune in 2025.

According to the results of the investigation and review by the end of 2024, Dien Khanh commune has 31 poor households, accounting for 0.27%; 64 near-poor households, accounting for 0.56%, no poor or near-poor households of ethnic minorities. The commune's poverty reduction work has achieved many positive results, and people's lives are increasingly improved.

At the conference, investigators were trained in the professional skills of reviewing poor and near-poor households in 2025; guided on the process and toolkit for annual review of poor and near-poor households and the process of identifying households working in agriculture , forestry, fishery, and salt production with average living standards.

The review plan was implemented from October 10 to December 14.
