Hoang Su Phi Commune urgently evacuated 3 households in the landslide area.

After the recent heavy rains, Hoang Su Phi commune has experienced many serious landslides on roads and residential areas. In response, the commune has established a working group to conduct field inspections, assess the extent of the impact, and promptly support households that have had to evacuate to safe housing.

Many traffic routes in Hoang Su Phi commune were eroded due to heavy rain in recent days.

Through inspection, the working group recorded that many areas in Thuong 2 village had more than 10 landslides near residential areas and inter-village roads. Some locations had deep sinkholes and long cracks, posing a risk of landslides onto houses if there was heavy rain. Notably, 3 households in the village had their houses tilted and collapsed by rocks from the positive slope, causing damage to their property.

Faced with the complicated landslide situation, Hoang Su Phi commune has provided emergency support to 3 families that need to be relocated, each with 30 million VND to help them stabilize their lives soon. At the same time, it has directed mass organizations and militia forces to quickly help households in vulnerable areas move their houses and assets to safety.

Leaders of Hoang Su Phi commune gave money to support Mr. Leng Van San's family, Thuong 2 village, to move to a new place.

The commune requested the specialized sector to continue geological surveys, put up warning signs, and delineate dangerous areas to ensure people's safety. At the same time, urgently complete the grassroots Disaster Prevention and Control Command after the merger to proactively deploy response plans according to the "4 on-site" motto, ready to handle arising situations.
