In Quang Trung hamlet, Mrs. Dang Thi Hoa's family suffered a landslide, with rocks and soil reaching the foundation of her house. On the morning of October 7, the working group of the Standing Party Committee, the Commune People's Committee and the Command Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of Thanh Cong Commune directly inspected and encouraged the family; mobilized militia and people to build temporary shelters so that Mrs. Hoa's family could have a safe place to live while waiting for recovery. The Commune People's Committee supported 30 million VND from the Natural Disaster Prevention and Control Fund and provided emergency support to help the family initially overcome the damage and stabilize their lives.

Heavy rains caused landslides on Provincial Road 212 (Phia Den - Na Ban section) and Na Lenh - Tam Kim route, making it impossible for vehicles to pass. The commune authorities are continuing to inspect and count the damage to come up with a solution.
Currently, the People's Committee of Thanh Cong commune continues to direct local forces to implement the "4 on-site" motto, regularly inspect and review high-risk areas to proactively respond and minimize damage to people and property caused by storms and rains. Local authorities advise people not to be subjective, especially in mountain slopes, stream banks and positive slopes with signs of cracks and landslides; need to proactively move to a safe place when there is prolonged heavy rain, comply with the instructions of functional forces to ensure safety of life and property.
