Tri Ton Commune visited and gave gifts to students of An Giang Province Drug Rehabilitation Center

On October 21, a working delegation of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tri Ton commune, led by Vice Chairman of Tri Ton commune People's Committee Le Van Duong, visited, presented gifts, and encouraged students undergoing drug rehabilitation at the An Giang Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center (Vinh Gia commune).

The delegation encouraged and wished the students good health, to try to complete the drug rehabilitation program at the facility, to soon reintegrate into society, and to become useful people for their families, communities and society. At the same time, 30 gifts (worth 200,000 VND/gift) were presented to the students.

Currently, the An Giang Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center is managing 1,054 drug addicts, with 10 management areas. In addition to organizing treatment, health care, and drug addiction rehabilitation for students, the An Giang Provincial Drug Rehabilitation Center also focuses on vocational training, combined with labor therapy to create job opportunities for students when reintegrating into the community.
