Trieu Viet Vuong Commune: "A Gracious Meal" on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), Trieu Viet Vuong commune organized a "Meal of Gratitude", expressing deep gratitude to those who contributed to the revolution.

Women members go to the market and prepare food directly.

The program was chaired by the Commune Summer Activities Steering Committee, the Commune Fatherland Front Committee, in coordination with the sectors and organizations in the commune, organized from July 21 to 27 at 30 families of war invalids and martyrs in the area. Here, the youth union members and women's union members went to the market and cooked dishes with rich flavors of their homeland to invite the families of war invalids and martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution.

Each meal tray costs from 600,000 to more than 1,000,000 VND, of which the commune supports 300,000 VND/family, the rest is voluntarily contributed by people and members of the association and union.

Not just a simple meal, “A Gratitude Meal” is also an opportunity for today’s generation to express their respect and deep gratitude to their predecessors, spread the spirit of “When drinking water, remember its source”, strengthen solidarity and arouse human values in the community.
