According to preliminary statistics, heavy rain affected 10 households, of which: 5 households in Pho Moi village and 2 households in Tan Quang village had their positive slopes eroded behind their houses; 1 household in Tan Quang village had its negative slopes eroded; 1 household in Tung Chin 3 village had its house wall collapsed.


The main road of Phin Ngan village had 2 landslides (1 negative slope landslide about 16m long and 1 positive slope landslide). The Nam Chon road had landslides behind the village cultural house. The total damage is estimated at more than 4 billion VND.
In particular, the boarding area of Trinh Tuong Ethnic Boarding Secondary School is at high risk of landslides. The Commune People's Committee has directed the school and other forces to move students to a safe place.

Forces help people in landslide areas move their properties to safety.
As soon as receiving information about the landslide, the forces went to inspect the scene, assess the situation and assist people in moving their property out of the dangerous location.

On the same day, Trinh Tuong commune leaders continued to review areas at risk of landslides to grasp the situation and take timely measures to ensure the safety of people and property.
