Identifying contractors for the Nhat Le riverside road project worth over 200 billion VND

The Department of Transport of Quang Binh province has just announced the winning contractor for Package No. 10 Construction and installation of works under the Road and embankment project connecting Nhat Le 2 bridge to the storm shelter and fishing logistics anchorage area, Dong Hoi city.

Accordingly, the joint venture of Son Hai Group Co., Ltd. - Thanh An Joint Stock Company - Quang Tri General Construction Joint Stock Company was determined to be the winning bidder with a bid price of VND 227.824 billion, attached with a 12.66% discount letter, so the bid price after discount is VND 198.981 billion (equivalent to a 16.3% reduction), the total technical score is 94.25/100 points, ranked 1st and was selected to win the bid.

It is known that this bid package has an estimated price of 237,734 billion VND, was organized for open bidding online, announced to close on January 19, 2024; then extended to January 29, 2024.

The Road and Embankment Project connecting Nhat Le 2 Bridge to the Storm Shelter and Fishing Logistics Area (South of Nhat Le 3 Bridge), Dong Hoi City was approved by the People's Committee of Quang Binh Province for investment with a total investment of 298 billion VND, using the excess revenue budget in 2021 and 2022 of Quang Binh Province. The project was assigned to the Department of Transport of Quang Binh Province as the investor.

The project will be implemented in 2023-2025. The project investment scale includes a main line of about 2.36 km long and a connecting line of about 0.6 km long. The total length of the entire project is about 2.96 km.

The starting point of the main route will be located in the green park area south of Nhat Le 2 bridge, the end point of the route will be south of Nhat Le 3 bridge, adjacent to the storm shelter and fishing logistics area of Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city. The connecting route has its starting point at the end point of the main route and its end point at the intersection with the 36m planned road axis of Bao Ninh commune.

The project aims to gradually create a transport network for Dong Hoi city, contributing to the completion of the transport infrastructure system according to the development orientation of the province. Create highlights and attract investment in coastal urban projects, effectively exploiting coastal land funds. Promote the socio-economic development of the province, especially in exploiting the potential and strengths of tourism, marine services, fishing logistics as well as improving the capacity to prevent and proactively adapt to climate change, prevent riverbank erosion, etc.
