Building the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations as the political core

Delegates affirmed the practical need to build the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations as the true political core, promoting mastery, and strongly arousing the will and aspirations of the people of all walks of life.

The first Congress of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations is the first Congress to follow the new model, comprehensively leading the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio- political organizations, and people's organizations.

With the motto "Solidarity-Democracy-Creativity-Innovation-Development," delegates attending the Congress promoted democracy, focused their intelligence, discussed enthusiastically, and contributed many valid opinions to the draft documents submitted to the Congress and the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

On the sidelines of the Congress, many opinions expressed confidence and affirmed that we will always strive, unite, innovate thinking, content, and methods of operation, bring the Congress Resolution into life, practically build the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations to truly be the political core, promote the right to mastery, strongly arouse the will and aspiration to rise up of all classes of people; promote the tradition and strength of the great national unity bloc; under the wise leadership of the Party, unite and join hands to enter the era of national rise; build our country to be prosperous, prosperous, civilized, and happy.

Create a synergy

Mr. Nguyen Thang Long, Director of the Vietnam Friendship Village, under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association , commented that the Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations was held in an atmosphere of innovation, with reports presented concisely and succinctly, specifically assessing what has been done and what has not been done; as well as affirming the role of the Fatherland Front in national solidarity.

Mr. Nguyen Thang Long shared his directive speech at the Congress. General Secretary To Lam emphasized that the Front is the people. The Front is the broadest gathering place of the masses - workers, farmers, women, the elderly, youth, teenagers, children, veterans; people of all ethnic groups and religions; intellectuals, businessmen, artists; Vietnamese people abroad. The strength of the Front is the strength of the people. The tradition of the Front is solidarity. Unity to build the country, defend the country, develop the country; unity to stabilize society, improve people's lives, and achieve the great goals of the nation.

To quickly put the Congress Resolution into practice, according to Mr. Nguyen Thang Long, it is necessary to properly implement the direction of General Secretary To Lam: "Move from 'right direction' to 'right and sufficient results', measurable, verifiable, the results achieved are not only felt but must go into the material and spiritual life, social activities of each street, hamlet, village, into each family, into each individual."

"As a member of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association, attending the Congress of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations for the first time, I feel very excited and hopeful, because this is a large gathering of the Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State to create a combined strength, making an important contribution to the development of the country in the new era, towards the 14th National Party Congress. At the same time, through this, we are even more proud of our work: taking care of special people in special circumstances; a source of encouragement for each person in the unit to be empowered to continue to perform better the assigned work" - Mr. Nguyen Thang Long expressed.

Established on March 18, 1998 (under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Veterans Association), the Vietnam Friendship Village is responsible for receiving and treating thousands of veterans and youth volunteers infected with Agent Orange with limited mobility, memory loss, neurological disorders, etc. The village is also the "second home" of hundreds of second and third generation children born with malformed bodies, deformities, deafness, cerebral palsy, autism, etc. from 20 provinces and cities from Hue city to the northern provinces.

Promoting the core role of party members

Dr. Ngo Sach Thuc, former Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Party Cell Secretary, President of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, expressed his agreement and high appreciation for the contents presented at the Congress. Although newly established, in a short time, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations have led the implementation of a huge amount of work, reorganizing the apparatus, streamlining and efficiency to better perform tasks in the new period.

The political report has been supplemented, evaluating the outstanding results of member organizations; especially putting forward 10 goals, 8 groups of tasks, solutions to be implemented in the new term, along with an action program demonstrating the high level of innovation and great political determination of the Fatherland Front with its new position as a part of the political system and a place of solidarity, acting as the core for the people to exercise their right to mastery.

With the responsibility and honor of attending the Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations, each delegate and Party organization needs to have specific actions and plans to implement after the Congress, in order to promote the core role of Party members to all cadres and members.

The Congress proposed three breakthroughs: innovating leadership methods; being close to the people and serving the people; arranging and using cadres, which requires new thinking and new ways of working. From there, the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children also proposed key tasks, including continuing to innovate thinking and ways of working to bring the ideas and content of the Congress to members as well as the people; gathering dedicated, knowledgeable, responsible, and united people to participate in the work of the Association, effectively implementing policies and guidelines related to social security and caring for the disadvantaged, in accordance with the criteria and purposes, clearly demonstrating representativeness, mass character, social-humanity, voluntary-democratic nature; for the noble goals of the nation, country, and people.

Improve the quality of life in each Party cell and Party committee

In order to deepen the content of improving the quality of Party cell activities and solutions related to inspection and supervision work, Deputy Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh said that the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations need to focus on seriously implementing Directive No. 50-CT/TW of the Secretariat and the Party Committee's plans.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh, it is necessary to innovate the form of activities through methods such as changing the location of activities, not necessarily just in the office or meeting room to improve efficiency; strengthening coordination between Party cells, organizing specialized inter-Party cell meetings to share experiences and learn from each other. In particular, the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations should soon develop and apply criteria to assess the quality of Party cell activities in 2025 so that the activities take place in a substantial, effective and in-depth manner; at the same time, affirming the importance of inspection and supervision work, in line with the spirit of the documents of the 14th National Party Congress.

To achieve the set goals and expectations, the Central Party Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union proposed that in the coming time, it is necessary to actively improve the capacity of officials doing inspection and supervision work, and at the same time organize training sessions, fostering and exchanging practical experiences. In the new context and situation, Party committees and Party cells need to promote the application of technology in inspection and supervision work, including investment in human resources and facilities to ensure effectiveness; closely coordinate with the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central organizations in the inspection and supervision work of the Party with the supervision and social criticism activities of the Fatherland Front, share information and results to improve overall efficiency.

"With the spirit of "Democracy - Solidarity - Responsibility - Innovation - Development," the Congress of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations is an opportunity for each delegate to promote their intelligence, courage, and responsibility, and contribute many frank, profound, and comprehensive opinions. Each opinion will contribute to clarifying the content of the documents, creating high unity in will and action, and determination to successfully implement the Congress Resolution, bringing the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and Central mass organizations into a new, strong, and comprehensive stage of development, contributing worthily to the success of the 14th National Party Congress./.
