(DN) - On the afternoon of August 7, a working delegation of the Department of Health led by Meritorious Doctor, Specialist II Doctor Do Thi Nguyen, Director of the Department of Health, visited and worked with the Nhon Trach Regional Medical Center.

At the meeting, representatives of commune health stations under Nhon Trach Regional Health Center reported difficulties in health insurance examination and treatment activities at the stations due to lack of separate seals; lack of human resources, medicine and equipment.

Director of the Department of Health Do Thi Nguyen and leaders of the department's professional departments discussed and answered specific questions according to their functions, contributing to solving many problems for the grassroots health sector.

Concluding the meeting, Director of the Department of Health Do Thi Nguyen commended and acknowledged the results achieved by Nhon Trach Regional Medical Center in the first 6 months of 2025. At the same time, she requested the unit to continue promoting the achieved results, focusing on implementing a number of key tasks in the coming time such as: Improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, promoting the application of information technology, completing the implementation of electronic medical records in September 2025.

The leaders of the Department of Health proposed that the Nhon Trach Regional Health Center develop a flexible model of care for people in the direction of family doctors; improve processes, increase professional inspections, and improve patient satisfaction. At the same time, prioritize strengthening grassroots health care; support human resources and equipment for commune health stations; develop a long-term human resource training strategy, increase financial autonomy to increase income and retain staff; strengthen the management of non-communicable diseases at health stations, transfer drugs to communes to expand revenue sources, combine effective communication and coordinate well with localities; build an image of dedicated, responsible, and close-to-people health workers .
