Building a model of Phu Nghia farmers in the new period, comprehensively developed and civilized

HNP - On the afternoon of September 20, the Farmers' Association of Phu Nghia commune held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term, affirming the spirit of solidarity, creativity, and sustainable development. Attending the Congress were 120 delegates representing 4,493 farmer members in the area.

The political report presented to the Congress stated that in the 2023-2025 term, the work of the Association and the farmers' movement in Phu Nghia commune achieved many outstanding results. The Association organized propaganda and mobilized more than 25,000 cadres and members to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws; 100% of members studied and thoroughly understood the Association's Charter and resolutions at all levels; associated with the movement "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle". The forms of propaganda are increasingly diverse and effective.

The work of strengthening the Association's organization was focused on, with 1,000 more members, bringing the total to 4,493 people, operating in 36 branches and 20 groups. The content and methods of activities continued to be innovated, focusing on the grassroots, linked to the task of socio -economic development. Training and fostering of cadres were regularly deployed, helping to improve the level and leadership skills, meeting new requirements.

The emulation movements of the Association have been effective, especially the movement "Farmers compete in production and good business" which has aroused potential, created motivation for economic development, and sustainable poverty reduction. The Association mobilized 100% of member families to register to build "Cultural families", with more than 92% of households meeting the standards every year.

Member support activities have achieved many practical results: The balance of the Farmers Support Fund is more than 5.1 billion VND, along with nearly 73 billion VND in capital from banks, helping thousands of households develop production and create jobs. The Association also organized 50 training courses for 4,000 officials and members; supported the construction of safe production models, developed OCOP products; introduced 18 outstanding members to the Party for consideration of admission.

In the 2025-2030 term, the Farmers' Association of Phu Nghia commune sets out the following directions: Building a strong and comprehensive Association; developing clean agriculture, digital farmers, and a sustainable environment; every year, each Association base builds at least one effective collective economic model; on average, each year the Grassroots Farmers' Support Fund grows by 10 million VND; strives to admit over 60 new members, train and introduce at least 30 outstanding members for the Party to consider admitting...

Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Nghia Commune Nguyen Hop Tien praised the outstanding results that the Association has achieved, and at the same time suggested that in the new term, the Association continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, promote the role of a bridge between farmers and the Party and State; pay attention to supporting members to develop production, improve their lives; actively participate in building the Party and government, contributing to building Phu Nghia commune to develop sustainably.

The Congress announced the decisions of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Farmers' Association to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Phu Nghia commune for the 2025-2030 term. Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Nghia commune Nguyen Gia Tu was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Phu Nghia commune.
