Pickup truck caught fire, one person died

On the afternoon of May 28, the leader of the People's Committee of Tan Hoi commune, Duc Trong district ( Lam Dong ) confirmed that a pickup truck fire had just occurred in the commune, killing one person and injuring another.

After the explosion, the pickup truck caught fire.

Initial information, at noon on May 28, a pickup truck with license plate KS 49C-312.42 was rented by a person in Tan Ha commune, Lam Ha district (Lam Dong) to drive himself to a wedding. When approaching a restaurant in Cu Xa area, Tan Hoi commune, it collided with a female pedestrian.

After getting out of the car to check on the injured person, the driver (identity not yet determined) got back in the car when the pickup truck suddenly emitted two loud explosions and then caught fire fiercely.

The pickup truck burned down.

As a result, the man driving the car died on the spot, while the woman who was hit by the pickup truck was injured and taken to the emergency room. Her health condition is now stable.

When the car fire broke out, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force arrived at the scene to put out the fire, but the car had already burned down. Currently, the authorities of Duc Trong District and Lam Dong Province are investigating the cause of the pickup truck fire that killed one person.
