This information appeared shortly after the Vietnamese car company opened deposits for two electric SUV models VF 6 and VF 7 in India, while revealing plans to launch a series of other products in the near future. Previously, VinFast also registered the copyright for the 7-seat SUV model Limo Green.
In Vietnam, the Minio Green is an electric vehicle designed specifically for transportation services, but in India, VinFast can adapt it to a multi-purpose direction. With a length of 3,090 mm, this model is slightly longer than the MG Comet (2,974 mm) and belongs to the 2-door mini electric vehicle segment. The overall "tall-boy" design makes the vehicle compact but tall, easily attracting attention in crowded urban areas.

The Minio Green's exterior features a closed grille, semicircular headlights, angular front bumper and rounded wheel arches. The car is equipped with 13-inch wheels, traditional door handles, a shark fin antenna and vertical taillights. Customers will have 6 color options.
The cockpit is simply designed, focusing on practicality and space. The car has a multi-function digital screen for both the dashboard and entertainment, without a separate sound system. The interior color is gray combined with blue. Standard equipment includes a flat-bottomed two-spoke steering wheel, fabric seats, a 4-way adjustable driver's seat, and a dual-mode day-night rearview mirror. Safety features include a driver's airbag, ABS, and traction control. Smart utilities such as self-diagnosis and QR code payment integrated into the mobile application are also equipped.

In terms of operation, VinFast Minio Green uses a 14.7 kWh battery, an electric motor with a capacity of 20 kW (27 PS), a maximum torque of 65 Nm and rear-wheel drive. The car has two driving modes: Eco and Normal, a maximum speed of 80 km/h and an operating range of about 170 km according to NEDC standards. The car supports fast charging with a maximum capacity of 12 kW.
Minio Green will be produced at VinFast factory in Tamil Nadu, India – where the VF 7 model has begun to be assembled. The initial capacity is 50,000 vehicles/year, which can be increased to 150,000 vehicles/year depending on demand.

In addition to serving the domestic market, the plant will also serve as an export hub to Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The expansion is expected to cost around 16,000 crore rupees (over $1.9 billion), creating hundreds of direct and thousands of indirect jobs in the region.
With this strategic move, VinFast is showing clear ambition in penetrating deeply into the world's third most populous electric vehicle market, while positioning itself as a "global player" in the era of zero-emission vehicles.
