The Vietnamese women's team will participate in Group E in the 2026 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers, along with opponents Maldives, UAE and Guam.
Group E matches will take place from June 29 to July 5 at Viet Tri Stadium ( Phu Tho ), in a round-robin format. The top team in the group will qualify for the 2026 Women's Asian Cup finals in Australia in March next year.
According to the schedule, the Vietnamese women's team will face Maldives (June 29), UAE (July 2) and Guam (July 5). Under the guidance of coach Mai Duc Chung, the home team is considered the most promising candidate for a place in the next round.

The 2026 Women's Asian Cup will feature 12 teams. The top six will qualify directly for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil. The next two teams will play an inter-regional play-off, while the quarter-finalists will qualify for the 2028 Olympics.
Four teams have now qualified for the finals: hosts Australia, along with China, Japan and South Korea – the three highest-ranked teams at the 2022 Asian Cup. The remaining eight spots will be determined after the qualifying round, with 34 teams divided into eight groups, including two groups of five teams and six groups of four teams. Each group will select one group winner to advance to the finals.
It is known that the entire qualifying round of Group E will be exclusively broadcast by FPT Play in Vietnam.
