A small alley on Yen Phu Street is decorated with bright red national flags on the occasion of National Day, September 2. These days, this place has become the check-in center of Hanoians and tourists, some people have to queue for an hour to take pictures.
On the days leading up to Independence Day, all the streets of Hanoi are filled with red flags with yellow stars to celebrate the 79th anniversary of National Day, September 2.
Before National Day, September 2, the alley on Yen Phu Street was decorated with national flags and party flags. Although hidden on Yen Phu Street and simply decorated, the scenery in this alley still attracts hundreds of young people to check in.
From early morning on September 1, many people and tourists came to take pictures with the Party and National flags in the small alley on Yen Phu street.
The crowd was so large that most people had to stand in line to take their turn taking pictures.
The girls freely pose for photos.
Van Anh (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi) said that to take a photo with the flag row on Yen Phu street, she had to queue for nearly an hour. "I didn't think it would be so crowded today. I chose to go at 11am to avoid the crowds and long waits, but when I got there, it was still very crowded. For me, taking a photo with the national flag on National Day is a source of pride and happiness," Van Anh shared.
Not only young people, many families also bring their children to take pictures in this alley.
Mr. Tran Manh Hung (29 years old, Ha Dong district, Hanoi) and his wife and children came to take pictures at Yen Phu flag alley. "This is the first time I brought my family here to take pictures. Every Vietnamese person has a national flag in their heart. I was very surprised when I came here and saw this alley so crowded with people taking pictures," said Mr. Hung.
Children were taken by their parents to take pictures at Yen Phu flag alley.
With its own beauty, this alley has attracted many young people to come take photos and check-in during this year's National Day holiday.
People living in Yen Phu alley said that in previous years, this alley was decorated like this, but it was only in the last 2 years that many people knew about it because the photos were shared on social networks.
Everyone has their own way of enjoying the holidays. Finding alleys with typical Hanoian flags flying and capturing beautiful images is also a way chosen by many young people.
