Instant photo printing at photobooths is becoming a popular trend in major cities and has spread to many localities across the country. In Son La province, three photobooth shops have opened, attracting a large number of young people to experience it.

Photobooths are self-service photo booths located in small cabins. The main attraction is that users can freely pose in private and receive their photos printed immediately. With a variety of accessories and unique photo frames ranging from plants and animals to photos featuring movie and music idols, photobooth photography offers a genuine experience, highlighting unique moments.

For young people, taking photos in photobooths is gradually becoming a familiar option in their lives. The spread of photobooths on social media is the reason many young people want to experience this type of service. Ca Thi Anh Nguyet, 18 years old, from Chieng Sinh ward, Sharing: Compared to traditional photography, photobooth photography is very private. We're inside a booth and can freely pose and express ourselves as we like. Additionally, each photo can be taken with different accessories, making it very cute and natural. I choose photobooth photography for outings with friends and also for special occasions like birthdays.

Photobooth photography isn't just popular among girls; boys also enjoy this style of photography. Ha Gia Huy, a 16-year-old boy from To Hieu ward, Son La province, said: "This is my first time taking a photobooth. I learned about this style through social media trends. I find it really cool; it's a playful and memorable way to capture memories with my friends."

Boys also enjoy taking photos in photobooths.

Photobooths attract customers with their wide variety of accessories and photo frames, allowing photographers to unleash their creativity in their shots. At the Photo Razzle Dazzle store, located on the 3rd floor of Vincom Plaza Son La Shopping Center, the accessory display area is scientifically and creatively arranged with clear themes.

Ms. Ha Thi Thuy, Store Manager of Photo Razzle Dazzle, shared: "For accessories, we flexibly arrange them weekly. At the same time, we provide new photo frame designs every two months. We also continuously innovate our collection by designing exclusive frames linked to important current events, such as: the merger of administrative units; the graduation exams; or the upcoming celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd..."

A wide variety of headwear accessories are displayed on the shelves at Photobooth Razzle Dazzle, 3rd floor, Vincom Plaza Son La Shopping Center.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thao, 26 years old, owner of Candy Lens Photobooth at 66 Ho Sanh Street, To Hieu Ward, Son La City, shared: "Besides the basic shooting angles, we have also invested in an overhead shooting room to diversify the customer experience when taking photos at the photobooth. If customers have the need, we also offer a service to make keychains from their photos."

Tapping into the Gen Z generation's preference for freedom and personal experiences, the photobooth model is proving effective. Ms. Ngo Thi Lien, 43, owner of Sweet Photobooth near Northwest Square, said: "The photobooth process emphasizes customer initiative and self-experience, so we don't need to employ too many staff. Our customers are mainly Gen Z, who prioritize natural, authentic photo sessions and the opportunity to fully experience the photobooth process themselves."

According to shop owners, during peak periods, a single photobooth shop can welcome up to 100 customers per day. The majority of customers are young people, but there are also families and older customers.

Nowadays, photobooth photography also utilizes technology that allows customers to scan QR codes to receive photos and videos on the spot, which is very convenient. 17-year-old Deo Anh Thuc from To Hieu ward shared: "Every time I share my photobooth photos on social media, many friends express their delight and wish to go take photos at a photobooth."

The QR code scanning feature allows users to retrieve photos and videos from the Photobooth, enabling them to preserve their memories.

With prices ranging from approximately 60,000 to 100,000 VND for different photo sizes, photobooth photography is becoming a modern cultural trend in entertainment. Photobooth photos help capture memorable moments and provide a space for people to express their personality and preferences in styling, accessories, and indulging their passions.
