Handling traffic violations via VNeID application

During the inspection on National Highway 4D by the Patrol Team of PC08, Lao Cai Provincial Police. The entire process of checking documents and handling traffic violators was carried out electronically, through the VNeID application. This method received the consent of drivers because of its many conveniences.

"Checking via the VNeID application is very convenient, because I don't need to carry a hard copy of my driver's license with me. It's quick and convenient to present, and I don't have to worry about losing my documents," said Dang Thai Hoc, a resident of Sa Pa town.

However, not all drivers and road users know and update this utility. Many people only know when the traffic police ask to check, so the task force must simultaneously guide and explain the new regulations to the people.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Phu, in Coc San commune, Lao Cai city said: "The police force instructed to fully integrate information such as driver's license, health insurance... into the VneID application so that future checks will be more convenient."

Although convenient, many people still have not integrated documents into the VNeID application for use.

Despite the many benefits, in reality, many people still do not know about the convenience of integrating documents on VNeID, so even though they have installed it, they have not used it, and even do not remember the password. This situation makes the operations of the functional forces encounter many difficulties.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Duy Khanh, Captain of Patrol Team 6, Traffic Police Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police added: "When we detect suspicious documents that may be fake, we will physically check them, otherwise we will mainly check the documents in the electronic environment, to ensure that traffic participants can travel smoothly, safely and quickly."

To implement Circular 28 of the Ministry of Public Security , the Traffic Police Department, Lao Cai Provincial Police has organized training, dissemination and education to 100% of officers and soldiers about the patrol and control process; instructions on handling violations on the VNeID application... In addition, promoting propaganda and instructing traffic participants to update and use VNeID to coordinate well with functional forces during operations according to regulations.
