According to the plan, this year's health check-up will be implemented until the end of October 2025. The medical team of Me Linh General Hospital will coordinate with the staff of Yen Lang Commune Health Station to directly examine, treat and provide health consultation to the people.

All medical examination data is entered into the electronic health record system, connected to the general management software of Hanoi city.

People of Yen Lang commune are being examined by medical staff .

Thanks to that, each elderly person will have a personal "health record", helping to continuously monitor and better serve future medical examination and treatment.

The health check-up list includes general clinical examination steps such as measuring blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight and BMI; checking cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive and neurological functions; examining eye, ear-nose-throat, dental-maxillofacial, dermatological and motor specialists.

In addition, paraclinical tests such as general abdominal ultrasound and blood tests are performed as prescribed by the doctor to detect early diseases such as anemia and metabolic disorders (glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides).

The program not only helps the elderly get comprehensive health check-ups and early detection of disease risks, but also provides advice on effective care and disease prevention. At the same time, this activity helps reduce the burden of medical costs for families.

Creating electronic health records also helps medical staff closely monitor people's health status, thereby providing accurate and timely interventions.

In the coming time, Yen Lang commune aims to have 100% of the elderly in the area managed and provided with comprehensive health care, contributing to improving the quality of life and building an increasingly civilized, developed and happy locality.

In parallel with activities in Yen Lang commune, Quang Minh commune is also implementing a plan to conduct health check-ups for more than 63,000 people in the area, including children, students, civil servants and freelance workers.

Health check-ups will be organized in village clusters, with commune health station staff as the core, in coordination with medical staff and doctors from hospitals in Hanoi and Phu Tho province.

Regarding health check-up activities for the people of the capital, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha requested leaders of the city's departments, branches, sectors, local Party committees and authorities to fully and deeply understand, strongly innovate thinking and actions in leading, directing, organizing the implementation of the work of protecting, caring for and improving people's health; integrating and prioritizing indicators on protecting, caring for and improving health in strategies, planning, plans and policies for socio-economic development of the city.

The Department of Health shall coordinate with the city's departments, branches, and People's Committees of communes to innovate the management of the health sector in association with administrative procedure reform, thorough decentralization and delegation of power; synchronously perfecting mechanisms and policies, focusing on improving the capacity of the health system, especially preventive medicine and grassroots health care. Units and localities shall implement periodic health check-ups or free screening for the people of the capital at least once a year according to priority groups and roadmaps.

The People's Committees of communes and wards direct health stations to promote their core role, coordinate with upper-level hospitals to synchronously implement the process of universal health examination, ensuring scientific, effective and safe. At the same time, localities urgently complete electronic health records for each person, moving towards managing community health using digital technology.
