Yamal speaks out after controversial party

Lamine Yamal has spoken out for the first time about the controversy surrounding his 18th birthday party in July.

The birthday party controversy shows the pressure a young star like Yamal faces.

In an interview with Spain's Resonancia de Corazon , Yamal denied the allegations, saying they were exaggerated: “I'm not angry. I find it quite funny. They try to smear me in many ways. One woman said I chose the girls in one way or another, but it's all lies.”

Yamal's 18th birthday party has been the center of controversy. Claudia Calvo, a Spanish model who won the title of Miss Europe 2022, shared on the TardeAR program that she was invited to Yamal's birthday party.

However, the invitation came with unusual requirements, such as the girls had to be blonde and have a bust size that met specific criteria. Yamal's birthday party also caused controversy when it hired several people with dwarfism to perform as entertainers.

The Spanish Association for People with Dwarfism and Skeletal Anomalies (ADEE), has publicly condemned Yamal for hiring the dwarf to "entertain" him at his birthday party. "Then there's the story about the waiters (dwarves), who were just doing their job. It's ridiculous to make such accusations," Yamal said.
